Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to the mudarknight.com website, the game server and the MuDarkNight Credits store. By creating an account or making a purchase, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Server Rules. The website stores the date and the version of each acceptance.

1. About MuDarkNight

1.1. MuDarkNight is a private, independent server based on the game MU Online. It is not affiliated with Webzen Inc., the owner of the brand and of the original game. All brands and names mentioned belong to their owners.

1.2. Playing is free. Buying Credits is optional and helps keep the server online while giving access to conveniences inside it.

2. Your account

2.1. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Anyone under 18 needs permission from a parent or legal guardian to create the account and to make any purchase.

2.2. The account is personal. You are responsible for everything done with it and must keep your password, secret answer and e-mail safe. The staff will never ask for your password.

2.3. Use a valid e-mail address that belongs to you: it is the only way to recover the account.

2.4. Lending, selling, buying, sharing or trading accounts and characters is forbidden.

3. Game rules

3.1. The rules of conduct inside the game, such as the use of forbidden programs, bug abuse and respect for other players, are on the Rules page and are part of these terms.

4. Credits

4.1. Credits are a license of use inside MuDarkNight, acquired to access conveniences and content of the server. Credits are not money, have no monetary value outside the server and cannot be exchanged for money, goods or services outside MuDarkNight.

4.2. Credits earn no interest, cannot be withdrawn and cannot be transferred between accounts, except through the official website market and by sending a package as a gift in the cart.

4.3. Exchanging Credits for WCoin and buying VIP with Credits are final. WCoin cannot be turned back into Credits.

4.4. Items, WCoin, VIP and other game content are also licenses of use and do not belong to the player. For game balance, the staff may adjust them.

5. Purchases, delivery and refunds

5.1. The price of each package is the one shown in the store at the time of purchase. Payment is made in the environment of the payment company chosen in the store, which handles the payment data; the website does not receive or store card or digital wallet data.

5.2. Credits are delivered to the account automatically when the payment provider confirms the payment. If they do not arrive within 24 hours after confirmation, open a Support ticket with the order number.

5.3. Right of withdrawal: you may cancel a purchase within 7 days after payment and get your money back, as long as the Credits from that purchase have not been used. Ask through Support with the order number. The money is returned through the same payment method and the Credits are removed from the account.

5.4. Credits already used (exchanged for WCoin or VIP, or spent in the market) are not refunded, because the content has already been delivered and used.

5.5. Disputing a payment (chargeback) without first contacting the staff causes the Credits from that purchase to be removed. If they were already used, the account stays blocked until the situation is resolved.

6. Player market

6.1. The website market lets players sell items to each other, for Credits only, with a 10% fee kept by the server.

6.2. Using the market to transfer Credits in disguise (for example, a worthless item sold at an agreed price) is forbidden. Sales from 200 Credits may be reviewed and cancelled.

7. Trading outside the server

7.1. Selling, buying or advertising MuDarkNight Credits, WCoin, items, characters or accounts in exchange for money or any goods outside the server is forbidden.

7.2. Violations may lead to the blocking or banning of the accounts involved and to the removal of Credits, items and characters, without refund.

8. Penalties

8.1. Anyone who breaks these terms or the server rules may receive a warning, a temporary block or a ban, depending on the severity. The staff may also remove items, Credits or characters obtained irregularly.

8.2. If you disagree with a penalty, open a Support ticket explaining the case.

9. Server operation

9.1. The staff works to keep the server and the website online, but there may be maintenance, downtime and technical failures. In these cases there is no compensation, except what the law guarantees.

9.2. The staff may change the game and the website (events, items, rates and systems) to fix errors and keep the balance.

10. Server shutdown

10.1. If MuDarkNight is going to shut down, the staff will give at least 30 days' notice on the website and on Discord, and the sale of Credits will be suspended from the notice on. Purchases still within the withdrawal period (item 5.3) can still be cancelled.

11. Changes to these terms

11.1. These terms may be updated. The version date is at the top of the page. When there is an important change, the website asks for a new acceptance before the next purchase.

12. Contact and governing law

12.1. Questions and requests: through Support in the account panel or the official Discord.

12.2. These terms are governed by Brazilian law, including the Consumer Protection Code. If you live in another country, the consumer rights guaranteed by your country's law also apply.
