Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains which data MuDarkNight collects on the website and on the game server, what it is used for, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and how you can exercise your rights under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) and the data protection law of your country.

1. Who looks after your data

1.1. The MuDarkNight staff is responsible (controller) for the data described here. For any privacy matter, contact the staff through Support in the account panel or the official Discord (item 9).

2. Data we collect

• Registration: username, password, e-mail, secret question and answer.
• Access and security: IP address, date and time of access to the website and the game, and records of account actions (login, password change, reward claims and purchases).
• Game: characters, items, currencies, rankings and history of activities on the server.
• Purchases: package, amount, currency, date and the transaction code at the payment provider. The website does not receive or store card data: payment happens in the payment provider's own environment.
• Support: the content of the tickets you open.

We do not ask for your full name, ID number, address or phone number to play.

3. What we use it for

• Creating and keeping your account and your access to the game (performance of contract).
• Delivering purchases and rewards, and handling refund and support requests (performance of contract).
• Protecting accounts and the server against fraud, intrusion, cheating and forbidden trading (legitimate interest).
• Sending account e-mails, such as password recovery and important notices. We do not sell e-mail addresses or send third-party advertising.
• Complying with legal obligations, such as keeping the access records required by Brazilian law (Marco Civil da Internet).

4. Who we share it with

Only with the services the website needs to work, each with its own privacy policy:

• Hosting: the server where the website and the game run.
• Website protection and delivery: a service that protects the website against attacks and bots (including the check at registration and a cookie-free visit measurement).
• Payment companies available in the store: payment is made in the company's own environment, which receives and handles the payment data (such as card or digital wallet) under its own privacy policy. MuDarkNight does not receive this data: it only receives the payment confirmation, to deliver the Credits purchased.
• E-mail provider: to send account e-mails.
• Authorities: when there is a court order or a legal obligation.

Since some of these services are outside your country, data may be transferred to other countries, always for the purposes above and to companies that adopt adequate security measures.

5. Cookies

The website only uses cookies it needs to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

• Session: keeps you logged in.
• Preferences: store the chosen language, layout and server.
• Store and Support: store choices made on those pages, such as the filters of the ticket list.
• Security: technical cookies of the website protection service, against bots and attacks.

6. How long we keep it

• Account and game data: while the account exists. After a deletion request, it is deleted or anonymized within 15 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
• Access records (IP, date and time): at least 6 months, as required by Brazilian law (Law 12.965/2014, art. 15).
• Purchase records: up to 5 years, to handle refunds, disputes and legal obligations.

7. Security

7.1. The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS), database access is restricted to the staff and payments are confirmed directly with the payment provider. No system is completely immune to failures: if an incident may cause relevant risk or harm, we will notify the people affected and the data protection authority.

8. Your rights

You may ask at any time for:

• confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
• correction of incomplete or wrong data;
• anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data;
• data portability;
• information about who we share the data with;
• deletion of the account and the data, subject to the periods in item 6.

You may also file a complaint with the data protection authority of your country or with Brazil's ANPD (gov.br/anpd).

9. How to make a request

9.1. Open a ticket in Support in the account panel saying what you want. If you cannot log in, contact the staff on the official Discord. To protect you, we may ask you to confirm that the account is yours before handling the request. We answer within 15 days.

10. Minors

10.1. Accounts require a minimum age of 13, and anyone under 18 needs permission from a legal guardian to create the account and to make purchases (Terms of Use, item 2.1). If a guardian finds an account created without permission, they can ask for its deletion through the channels in item 9.

11. Changes to this policy

11.1. This policy may be updated. The version date is at the top of the page, and important changes are announced on the website.
